THE OLD HOMESTEAD PARK RULES

 

I. ALL VISITORS INCLUDING OVERNIGHT VISITORS, STAYING IN YOUR CAMPING UNIT ARE CHARGED A VISITOR FEE. ALL VISITORS MUST

REGISTER ON ARRIVAL AND OBTAIN A REGISTRATION CARD FOR THEIR CAR. ANY PERSONS CAMPING ON YOUR LOT IN ANY OTHER

TYPE OF UNIT MUST PAY THE UNSERVICED RATE. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THAT YOUR VISITORS ARE REGISTERED.

 

2. ALL DAILY VISITORS MUST LEAVE THE PARK BY QUIET HOUR.

 

3. MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DENY ENTRY TO ANY PERSON.

 

4. LOT MAINTENANCE IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. IF YOU INTEND TO BE AWAY FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME OR IF YOU DO NOT

CUT YOUR GRASS ON A REGULAR BASIS, WE WILL HAVE IT CUT FOR YOU AT A FEE OF $20.00.

 

5. NO ADDITIONS OR ALTERATIONS MAY BE MADE TO THE LOT, INCLUDING ANY CONSTRUCTION, FENCING, TREE PLANTING, ETC.

WITHOUT THE PRIOR CONSENT OF THE OLD HOMESTEAD LTD. THE ONLY SHEDS ALLOWED ARE METAL OR VINYL MANUFACTURED

ONES. RAILINGS ON DECKS MUST BE METAL MANUFACTURED WROUGHT IRON STYLE OR VINYL.

NO WOODEN RAILINGS ARE ALLOWED.

 

6. NO ADVERTISING OR ADVERTISING SIGNS SHALL BE PERMITTED ON THE SITE OR WITHIN ANY TRAILER UNIT THEREON. WITHOUT

LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, NO SIGNS OFFERING THE SITE OR TRAILER UNIT LOCATED THEREON FOR SALE SHALL

BE PLACED ON THE SITE OR IN THE TRAILER UNIT LOCATED THEREON.

 

7. NO TRAILER SHALL BE SOLD ON RENTAL SPACE OCCUPIED BY THE TRAILER OWNER WITHOUT THE PRIOR EXPRESSED CONSENT OF

THE OLD HOMESTEAD LTD. A 5% COMISSION ON ANY SALE SHALL BE PAID TO THE OLD HOMESTEAD LIMITED. IN CONSIDERATION

FOR THE WORK PERFORMED BY IT INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO SHOWING THE TRAILER, ADVERTISING AND PREPARING ALL

DOCUMENTS FOR THE TRANSFER OF THE SPACE RENTAL AGREEMENT. TRAILERS SOLD PRIVATELY SHALL BE REMOVED FROM THE

PARK PREMISES IMMEDIATELY.

 

8. NO PETS SHALL BE ALLOWED IN THE PARK EXCEPT WITH THE PERMISSION OF THE MANAGEMENT. IF SUCH PERMISSION IS GRANTED,

THEN PETS MUST BE KEPT ON LEASHES AT ALL TIMES WHEN OUTSIDE THE TRAILER UNIT. NOISY OR UNRULY PETS OR THOSE THAT

CAUSE COMPLAINTS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO REMAIN IN THE PARK. NO PETS WILL BE ALLOWED IN ANY BUILDINGS SITUATED ON

THE COMMON AREAS OF THE PARK AT ANY TIME. NO DOG FENCING ALLOWED.

 

9. HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE MUST BE PLACED IN THE LARGE BIN PROVIDED FOR THIS PURPOSE. FIREPIT ASHES ARE TO BE PUT IN THE

HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE BIN. YARD WASTE (BRANCHES, LEAVES -NO BAGS PLEASE- OLD SOD, CLEAN FILL) IS TO BE PLACED IN THE YARD

WASTE ONLY AREA. SCRAP STEEL AND WHITE GOODS ARE TO BE PLACED IN THE METAL ONLY BIN.

RECYCLING: NEWSPRINT, GLASS, CANS, PLASTIC BOTTLES AND CARDBOARD ONLY. OLD REFRIGERATORS, FURNITURE,

MATRESSES, WOOD, CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL, PATIO STONES, ELECTRONICS ETC. ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY AND

MUST BE REMOVED FROM THE PARK BY YOURSELVES. FOR MORE DETAILED INFORMATION PLEASE. REFER TO THE BRA RECYCLING

INFO.

 

I 0. NO HAZARDOUS MATERIALS SUCH AS PLASTICS ETC. SHALL BE BURNED ON THE PREMISES. PLEASE USE COMMON SENSE SINCE THE

ENVIRONMENT CONCERNS US ALL!

 

11. LAWN WATERING IS RESTRICTED TO THE HOURS OF 9:00PM TO 10:00 PM. NO LAWN WATERING AT ALL ON ALL LONG WEEKENDS!

(THURSDAY 10:00 PM TO MONDAY 9:00 PM) OUR WATER SUPPLY COMES FROM A WELL AND IS LIMITED.

 

12. BOAT PARKING MUST BE ARRANGED WITH MANAGEMENT.

 

13 . ALL ELECTRICAL HOOK-UPS FROM YOUR UNIT TO THE PARK'S SERVICE BOX IS YOUR OWN RESPONSIBILITY AND MUST BE DONE

ACCORDING TO ONTARIO HYDRO CODE.

 

14. NOBODY IS ALLOWED TO CUT OUR TREES OR REMOVE BARK WITHOUT PRIOR CONSENT OF THE MANAGEMENT.

 

15. THERE ARE NO UNLICENCED VEHICLES ALLOWED TO DRIVE IN THE PARK.

 

16. THE SPEED LIMIT IN THE PARK IS 10KM/H AND WE ASK YOU AND YOUR VISITORS TO ADHERE TO THIS. WATCH FOR CHILDREN!

 

17. ACCOMPANY AND STAY WITH ALL CHILDREN UNDER 12 USING THE POOL. PLEASE OBSERVE ALL RULES IN THE POOL AREA. SWIM

AT YOUR OWN RISK!

 

18. WE INSIST YOU USE YOUR OWN HOLDING TANKS AT ALL TIMES. FAlLURE TO DO SO WILL CAUSE ODOUR AND BLOCKAGE PROBLEMS

FOR YOU AND POTENTIAL SEWER BLOCKAGE FOR US. A SEWER DONUT OR EQUIVALENT MUST BE USED. NO SANITARY PADS OR

DISPOSABLE DIAPERS IN SEWERS- SINGLE PLY TOILET TISSUE IS RECOMMENDED.

 

19. QUIET HOURS ARE BETWEEN MIDNIGHT AND 8:00AM. THIS MEANS ANY EXCESSIVE NOISE SUCH AS MUSIC, LOUD VOICES, ETC.

UNDERAGE DRINKING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED ON THE PREMISES AT ANY POINT OF TIME. WE WILL TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION IF

NECESSARY! YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE TO ENSURE YOUR GUESTS ABIDE BY THIS RULE.

 

20. WHEN ASSESSED, OWNERS OF THE PARK MODELS AND/OR TRAILER WILL PAY THE TAXES ABOVE SEASONAL RATE.

 

21. NO PARKING ON VACANT LOTS.

 

22. NO CHANGING OF CIRCUIT BREAKERS IN SERVICE BOX PERMITTED. ONLY BY MANAGEMENT.

 

23. ANY UNIT FOR SALE IN THE PARK THAT IS OLDER THAN 20 YEARS SHALL BE UP TO OUR DISCRETION IF ALLOWED TO BE

RESOLD ON THE PREMISES.

 

24. INQUIRJES,COMPLAINTS AND SUGGESTIONS SHOULD BE MADE DIRECTLY TO THE MANAGEMENT.
